How to Accept Binance Pay on Your Website
October 10, 2026 · 5 min read
There are three ways to accept Binance Pay on a website: apply for the official Binance Pay merchant program, ask customers to send money to your Pay ID and check each payment by hand, or let a service verify Pay ID payments automatically. For most small and medium online businesses, automatic verification is the fastest to set up, because it works with a regular Binance account and needs no business onboarding.
This guide compares the three options honestly and then shows how to set up the automatic one with Clearqo.
Why accept Binance Pay at all?
- No fee for the customer. Binance Pay transfers between Binance users carry no network fee, so customers pay exactly the price.
- Fast. A Binance Pay transfer arrives in seconds, while on-chain transfers have to wait for network confirmations.
- No wrong-network risk. Customers don’t choose a blockchain network or paste a long address, so the classic “sent on the wrong network” mistake cannot happen.
- Large audience. In many countries, especially where cards and PayPal are hard to use, a Binance account is the most common way people hold USDT.
Option 1: The official Binance Pay merchant program
Binance offers a merchant product with its own checkout and API. You apply as a business, go through business verification, and integrate its API or a supported plugin.
Good for: registered companies that can complete business verification and want Binance’s own hosted checkout.
Things to consider: onboarding takes time and paperwork, availability depends on your country and business type, and you have to build or install a separate integration for it. Check Binance’s merchant pages for the current requirements and fees.
Option 2: Share your Pay ID and check payments manually
Many small sellers simply post their Binance Pay ID and ask customers to send a screenshot after paying. It costs nothing and works on day one.
The problems start as soon as orders grow:
- Screenshots can be faked. You must open Binance and check every payment yourself.
- Matching is slow. When two customers pay 20 USDT within minutes of each other, which payment belongs to which order?
- Delivery waits for you. Customers wait until you are awake and online, which hurts sales of digital products in particular.
Option 3: Automatic Pay ID verification
This keeps the simplicity of Option 2 and removes the manual work. The customer still sends money to your Pay ID, but a service watches your Binance Pay history with a read-only API key and confirms each payment automatically.
Clearqo works this way:
- Your website creates an invoice for the order, through the WooCommerce plugin or the API.
- The invoice gets a unique amount, for example 20.0041 USDT. No other open order has that exact amount.
- The customer opens the payment page and sends exactly that amount to your Pay ID from the Binance app: Pay → Send, paste the Pay ID, choose USDT, enter the amount and confirm.
- Clearqo reads your incoming Binance Pay transactions, finds the exact amount within the invoice’s time window and marks the invoice paid.
- Your website receives a signed webhook and delivers the order. The customer’s payment page updates by itself and returns them to your site.
The money never passes through Clearqo. It goes straight from the customer’s Binance to yours. Clearqo can only read your history: keys that can withdraw, trade or transfer are refused.
Which option should you choose?
| Official merchant | Manual | Automatic | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account needed | Business verification | Regular Binance account | Regular Binance account |
| Setup time | Days to weeks | Minutes | About 10 minutes |
| Payment confirmation | Automatic | Manual, by you | Automatic |
| Fake screenshot risk | None | High | None |
| On-chain USDT (TRC20, BEP20) too | Depends on the product | Manual checks | Yes, same checkout |
How to set up automatic Binance Pay verification
- Find your Pay ID. In the Binance app open Pay. Your Pay ID is the number shown on your Pay profile and receive screen. More about the Pay ID.
- Create a read-only API key restricted to Clearqo’s server IP. Follow this step-by-step guide.
- Connect it. In the Clearqo dashboard open Binance, paste the key and secret, enter your Pay ID and the name customers see in Binance Pay, then click Save & verify.
- Connect your website. On WooCommerce, install the free plugin (full WooCommerce guide). On any other site, app or bot, use the REST API (PHP and Node.js tutorial).
- Test with a small real payment from a second Binance account.
Tips for a smooth Binance Pay checkout
- Set a business nickname in Binance Pay. Customers see your Binance Pay name when they send money. Use your shop name rather than your personal name. Enter the same name in the dashboard so the payment page shows it and customers can confirm they are paying the right account.
- Tell customers to send the exact amount. The payment page has copy buttons for the amount and the Pay ID. Rounding 20.0041 to 20 breaks automatic matching.
- Offer TRC20 and BEP20 as well. Not every customer has Binance. With on-chain addresses on the same payment page, wallet users can pay too.
- Keep your account in good standing. You are responsible for using your Binance account in line with Binance’s terms and your local laws.
